Youth Assistance Coalition
San Diego
Youth Assistance Coalition is a 501c3 that was founded in 2017 by a group of motivated volunteers who saw the pattern of youth homelessness in San Diego and wanted to break it. From the beginning, YAC has focused on a community approach to breaking this pattern, and has built up powerful partnerships with many other organizations in San Diego who are also committed to helping these youth get off the streets in a lasting way.
The Bali Food Project
Bali, Indonesia
While living in Bali with her family for the Summer of 2024, Sky had the honor of volunteering with the Bali Food Project. The mission for the Bali Food Project is to deliver food and care packages to the needy in communities that were hit the hardest by the pandemic. This project is truly about the richness of the possibility to share love and compassion, allowing each other into our lives, connecting with each other. This is our human birth right. This is where the very best of life happens.
